Sweet family run restaurant serving up tacos and tortas. Service was friendly and fast and their green sauce was delicious.

This was a "saw a video on Facebook" restaurant that looked good and wanted to try. As a Hispanic sometimes it's hard finding traditional tacos de trompo. I was pleasantly surprised and how good the food was here. I ordered the Big Mix, an Aqua Fresca Limonada, Gringa Al Pastor and side of charro beans. The Big Mix was a great combination and option if wanting to try all the flavors and types of tacos. It has 3 Al Pastor, 3 Asada, 3 Longaniza, 3 Al Pastor Verde, & 3 Campechano. There is a smaller version called The Mix which is 1 of each of the types listed above. The limonada was refreshing and traditional. The Gringa was good but least favorite of the whole order. The charro beans are a must.

Food was delicious! I ordered the Al Pastor and the meat was perfectly seasoned with pineapple and really well served. My husband ordered green and red Al Pastor with grilled onions and he really liked them as well. We had previously been to the other location on Hillcrest and really loved those as well, this location is closer for us and will be definitely coming back. 😋

I can’t say enough great things about Thai99 Express! My wife and I dine here at least once a week, usually after church. It’s our favorite day of the week! The food here is simply phenomenal—easily the best Thai cuisine I've ever tasted!!! Each dish is packed with authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and an incredible balance of spices. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and friendliness by the owners, Wen and Brandon, who truly make you feel right at home. Their passion for both the food and their guests is evident in every detail. I highly recommend this little gem off Huebner Rd. to anyone craving delicious, creatively prepared, authentic Thai food. Thai99 Express is our new favorite in San Antonio and an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves great food and wonderful hospitality!

😋 🤤 We’ve tried just about every Thai restaurant in San Antonio and have finally found one that delivers high-quality, FRESH, made-to-order dishes that will quite literally make your taste buds sing! 🎶 Though the restaurant is small and you may have to wait a bit; it’s super clean, smells like your Thai Grandma’s home, and offers a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to enjoy true comfort food. Fear not if you visited before and weren’t impressed — Thai99 is now under new ownership 👏🏼 (since early September 2024) and definitely did not disappoint! Chef Wen and Chef Bee’s creations are pure delight! We’ve tried a little bit of everything…Thai Cheese Rolls, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Yum Gai, Pumpkin Curry (bomb!!! 🤤), Green Curry, Drunken Noodles, Pad See Ew, Stir Fried Eggplant, Mango Sticky Rice, Coconut Ice Cream, sweet Thai Teas... What a delicious treat everything has been! We’d be hard-pressed to choose a favorite but that creamy Thai pumpkin curry is a solid 10/10 ~ sheer, creamy, savory-sweet perfection! Chef Wen, Bee, and Brandon, thank you for welcoming us like family ~ we’ll definitely be back, with more family and friends in tow!!! 💝
